It is becoming increasingly more popular for couples to elope. Especially with great scenic views that usually require some hiking (and hiking gear of course). All to get the best views and the perfect spot to elope with your soon-to-be spouse.
There are a few must-have hiking gear items that you may not think of. These are to help ensure you’re properly prepared if you’re doing any sort of hiking for your session.
We have curated a list of six must-haves for your session to ensure you’re all taken care of.
Pop Up Privacy Tenent – This is super helpful especially if you are going to be hiking a good distance and would rather not do so in you’re dress, tux, or whatever you are planning on wearing during your session. It is super lightweight and folds up for easy travel.
Water Reservoir – You want to make sure you are properly hydrated while hiking. This water reservoir is incredibly handy and comes in a few different sizes.
Blister Cream – Blister cream is a great way to ensure you don’t get any pesty blisters while hiking. Especially if you are hiking quite a distance. You want to be as comfortable as possible. We highly recommend anyone hiking get blister cream!
Headlamp – Depending on how long it will take you to hike to your destination, you may be doing some hiking during dusk or dawn. Better to stay safe hiking during your elopement.
Lightweight Backpack – Depending on how much you bring with you for your session, the last thing you want is to have a heavy backpack on top of everything you already have to put in there. This coat is lightweight and high-quality to ensure you’re items are properly secured.
Rain Jacket – Depending on the weather conditions, you might have to hike in the rain or colder weather. If you’ve previously hiked long distances in similar conditions, you know the importance of having a good lightweight jacket.
