Today I’m starting a new blog series called Friday Fours. Every week the topic will be a little different but you’ll get a look at four fresh favorites!! So let’s get started…
This week I’ve got four fun facts about me: Rachel, owner of Greenhouse!
This is one of those things that feels super awkward to bring up in casual settings because there’s no way to say it without feeling like you’re bragging. But I swear, I’m not. Honestly, it was a lot of luck combined with an irrational need to make it happen to prove that I could….which kind of sums up a lot of my life haha.
But Antartica was the trip of a lifetime. I went with Oceanwide Expeditions & I’ve never been to a place that feels so untouched. And obviously, I love to travel & in the pursuit of 7 continents I’ve been to something like 40 countries. I feel like before I die I very much would like to go to all of them. Plus space!!!!!
Should I write a whole blog post about Antartica? Let me know in the comments!
Ok, I feel like there are two kinds of people: people who know exactly what their enneagram is & want to talk about it. And people who are really tired of everyone talking about stupid numbers. But I’ve always been a sucker for personality tests so, of course, I’ve been pulled in.
If you have no clue what those numbers mean…Type 3 is the acheiver or competitor & Type 2 is the helper or caregiver. So essientally I’m a competitive helper & if you’ve ever met me in real life, you know it’s true…I used to be a nanny which I think is where a lot of my caregiver qualities bloomed. And I grew up with an older brother so competition started early for me & then really grew through sports.
Have you taken the enneagram or do you hate it?? Let me know in the comments!
But let me be clear…I’m not a wedding planner!! I just like throwing my own parties & they’re getting more extravagant (SPOILER ALERT: I’m planning my 30th birthday party as a week long international experience….and yes, that’s 4 years away but I’m excited).
But this year my friend & I are having a joint birthday party & I will give you one single solid high five if you can guess the theme of this years birthday party! Drop your guess in the comments!
Yeahhh I need to get back into running because these two races were in December of 2015 & December of 2016. Like long enough ago that it feels weird to even say that I did it. So 2020 might be the year of the comeback. Who knows?
What’s the hardest thing, physically speaking, that you’ve accomplished in the last five years? Hit me with it down in the comments!
Alrighy, so that just about sums up the first blog post in our new blog series: Friday Fours. Be on the lookout every Friday for new topics (I promise they won’t all be about me)! Have topics you want covered? Let me know!!
