Forest Engagement Photos | Carnation, Washington | Kate + Jasiu

Forest engagement photos are obviously, always a good idea. But these were extra special because of the story behind it!

Jasiu’s family has a piece of land by a river with a cabin that they built years ago after moving to Washington State from Poland. This cabin is in the middle of nowhere outside of Carnation, WA, which means it required a good bit of muddy driving & hiking.

But it was so worth it because not only have Kate & Jasiu had countless adventures here, but Jasiu also proposed here the summer beofre. So obviously, we had to come back for their engagement photos!

The engagement photos were a little rainy & pretty muddy but still such a blast. We got to explore around the river at sunset while the reminisced about all the summers they have spent here together. We wrapped up the session with a bottle of champagne & kielbasa around a campfire. Like if these aren’t my kind of people…I don’t know who are.
